Adam Greenspan
Vice President of Claims

Equipped with a compliance and regulatory background, Adam began his insurance career in 1999 with a large, international insurance carrier. Initially in the role of claims adjuster, he built an extensive knowledge of both negotiation strategy and policy that included property and Liability claims, personal and commercial lines claims, trucking and transportation claims as well as the ability to work proficiently with self insured entities and municipalities. It did not take long for his skills to be recognized, earning him multiple promotions, ultimately landing the esteemed position of Regional Claims Manager. Realizing great success and recognition in his new role, Adam would still strive for a greater challenge. Looking for the autonomy to apply his skills and abilities in a dynamic, growth forward environment, Adam found his next opportunity in his own back yard. Upon joining Burton Claim Service in 2005 as a claims manager, Adam quickly made an impact across the board. Utilizing his vast experiences and technical abilities he was able to add immense value in the areas of claims processes, procedures and protocols, ultimately promoting to Vice President- Claims. In this role, Adam remains a consummate leader with a positive, daily hands-on approach. Adam has had the distinguished opportunity to serve on many boards and committees during his career, not only for Claims entities but Insurance Agencies and Carriers as well. Adam possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Heidi Belisle
Director of Business Development

Heidi Belisle has 17 years of experience in relationship development, sales, customer service, problem solving, customer management, and management of the claims process. For the last 6 years, Heidi worked in the textile / dry cleaning restoration industry. While working in the textile restoration industry, she became knowledgeable of the restoration of clothing and fabric items for insured’s who have experienced a fire, water, mold or vandalism loss. Heidi worked closely with adjusters and contractors keeping them aware of the textile portion of the claim.

Prior to the textile restoration industry, Heidi worked for EFI Global, a forensic engineering and fire investigation firm for almost 5 years. At EFI Global, Heidi worked with adjusters, claim managers and director of claims. With 11 years of insurance related experience, Heidi has both attended and taught classes in the insurance sector. Below is a list of classes. Heidi also holds an adjuster’s license since 2009.

James Peck
Director of National Marketing

James Peck (Jim) recently joined our organization as Marketing Director. Jim has been in the insurance industry for over 38 years and he has an extensive background of claims both in staffed positions or as an independent adjuster.

He started his career with General Electric “Electric Insurance” in Kentucky and was with them for over ten years. He also held staff positions with Hanover Insurance and MGIC now part of FCCI for approximately four years of his career. During his early career in claims, he obtained his AIC and CPCU designations.

His last position of over 25 years was with James C Greene Company recently as their Vice President.

Jim joined the James C Greene Company right after Hurricane Hugo. He started as a quality control and storm supervisor in the aftermath Hurricane Hugo and subsequently has assisted on large CATS to include hurricanes Andrew, Katrina and Sandy along with Irene, Fran and Isabel in the Carolinas.

Jim is now assisting Burton Claim Service starting here in the fall of 2015.

He is a NFIP Certified Flood Adjuster and has experience in all-lines of insurance claims including professional liability and time element exposures.

Jim graduated from Ball State University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting and has also been an adjunct professor at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
